Sara, a FSI student of the FSI Master Football Injury Reconditioning Trainer, shares her testimony about her internship at RCD Mallorca!
Sara tells us how she discovered the world of FSI while finishing her undergraduate thesis. Fascinated by the studies on directional change conducted by FSI, she was drawn to the extensive practical component of the FSI master’s program. What she found surpassed her expectations.
For over two months, Sara had the valuable opportunity to immerse herself in the real-world experience in Mallorca, working with both the reserve team and the 1st team. She learned from injury reconditioining specialists, physiotherapists, the head coach, and the assistant coach, gaining knowledge in various areas.
“Thanks to FSI, my internship has become an enriching experience. I’ve gained much more experience than I expected,” said Sara.
The unique approach of FSI allowed her to have a longer practical component, providing her with a comprehensive and diverse understanding of injury reconditioning in football. Sara emphasizes that she was able to seamlessly blend theory and practice, and the flexibility to study at her own pace allowed her to balance work and study effortlessly.
Sara has gained an integral perspective by analyzing different viewpoints, treating various injuries, and working with numerous players. Ultimately, she always values the player’s perspective, which she considers crucial in providing an enriching internship experience.
