The Football Science Institute branches out to the USA with Austin FC as a new Educational Partner

Austin FC and FSI have signed an educational cooperation agreement through which both institutions will collaborate in a professional alliance in order to promote Sports Science applied to football. Austin FC is a team from the city of Austin, Texas in the United States that joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as a new team in 2021.

This agreement will provide additional benefits to the training programs of the Club’s player through access for two seasons to the online training programs that FSI has launched this year, adding value to their daily training and routine. FSI will implement a new internship program in the United States, accessible to those students who have completed their Master’ degree which will consist of internships at clubs by quarter or semester. In this way, both institutions will promote job placement and networking between professionals accredited by FSI and club technical staff.
